The Senior Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) Specialist independently performs a wide range of duties within their area of specialty. Responsibilities include developing and modifying test procedures, conducting technical review and monitoring of existing procedures, and coordinating quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing activities. The role may include identifying staff training needs, evaluating competency of testing personnel, and serving as a technical consultant and resource for laboratory staff, the medical enterprise, and the community. Work assignments are made by the Manager, Supervisor, and/or Faculty on a daily or project basis. Performs other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $128,976 - $169,984 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $61.77 - $81.41 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). | |
