Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, pulling, staging, and preparing orders to support efficient warehouse and distribution operations. This role includes handling incoming materials, verifying shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records through basic computer input, and ensuring the warehouse remains clean, organized, and safe. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment while operating a forklift and performing physically active tasks.

Job Responsibilities



  • Pull and prepare orders for delivery according to customer and operational requirements.
  • Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials accurately.
  • Perform basic computer input related to receiving documents and inventory tracking.
  • Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, secure, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Assist with inventory control and product organization as needed.
  • Support various warehouse functions, including receiving, returns, and order fulfillment tasks.
  • Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines.


Job Requirements



  • Minimum of 6 months of recent sit-down forklift experience required.
  • Minimum of 6 months of computer experience and comfort using basic systems for data entry.
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely and maintain certification if required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (primarily lighter loads).
  • Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills required.
  • Reliable work history with minimal employment gaps preferred.


Work Experience



  • Experience in warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment preferred.
  • Forklift operation experience required.
