Description

Lipscomb University's College of Entertainment and the Arts and it's innovative production company Imagine House in Nashville Tennessee, invites applications for a full-time Communications Manager, beginning June 2026. The primary responsibilities of this position include:



  • Working with the CEA/IH Executive Leadership Team to create a unified and compelling vision and voice for internal and external communications that will enhance the CEA/IH brand in Nashville while also helping us achieve national recognition.
  • Designing or coordinating the design of annual marketing and recruiting materials and merchandise to be distributed to internal and external audiences.
  • Leading a faculty liaison team on all social media marketing and promotional efforts.
  • Curating content for CEA/IH TV and YouTube platforms.
  • Maintaining the CEA/IH websites.
  • Managing a student communications leadership team that will promote the CEA/IH through admissions and marketing efforts.
  • Planning and participating in CEA/IH campus events and representing us in the community.
  • Coordinating all efforts with University PR and Marketing.
  • Designing a weekly CEA/IH eblast that shares personal stories of students and faculty while also promoting upcoming events.
  • Identifying and updating multiple core audience lists annually for all communications
  • Working with the deans to create a consistent internal communication plan for faculty and students across the various programs in the college.
  • Co-Designing various presentations for faculty, staff and student meetings.


This position also includes responsibilities as the Director of the CEA/IH Giving Day. Responsibilities include:



  • Working with the Executive Leadership Team to refine annual strategies for growth.
  • Building faculty, staff and student ambassador teams.
  • Creating or coordinating the creation of content for the build-up, day of activities and post giving activities.
  • Planning, organizing, and coordinating with the CEA's advancement officer and the advancement office on all Giving Day logistics and requirements.


The position will include additional strategic responsibilities based on the candidate's qualifications and the CEA/IH's needs, focusing on one or more of the following areas: film production, content creation, graphic design, marketing and promotional strategies, as well as networking and event planning. Working knowledge and use of tools such as Emma ecommunication platform, graphic design tools, and project management systems such as Basecamp, Monday, Google suite are a must. This position will produce outputs and outcomes related to specific CEA goals tied to admissions, public relations, fundraising and event promotions.

The position reports directly to the dean and is a part of the executive leadership team of the college.

A bachelor's degree in a creative and/or marketing field as well as 3 plus years in a related industry with demonstrated success is preferred.

Education
Bachelors of Marketing (preferred)
Experience
3 years: A bachelor's degree in a creative and/or marketing field as well as 3 plus years in a related industry with demonstrated success is preferred. (preferred)
