The Financial Analyst aka Cash Analyst II is an integral part of the Financial Services team, working closely with the Medical Center's daily incoming deposits. This role involves overseeing cash, check, and credit card transactions, ensuring their accurate recording and reconciliation. The Analyst is also responsible for identifying and resolving issues related to credit card receipts and deposits, interacting with depositors, and supporting the Analyst III and general accountants with monthly journal entries. This position plays a key role in monitoring and controlling fraud, working closely with accounts payable to verify and release payments to vendors. Additionally, the Analyst audits and balances input and reports, provides support to various departments, and initiates payments and transfers.
