The IS Oracle Fusion Financials & EPM Sr. Manager is responsible for leading IT delivery, governance, and ongoing ownership of Oracle Fusion Financials and Oracle Cloud EPM. Reporting to the Senior Director of ERP, this in-office role is based at Altium headquarters, with travel required during key project phases. The role supports Altium's transition from JD Edwards (JDE) to Oracle Fusion, ensuring finance solutions are standardized, compliant, secure, and aligned with enterprise IT architecture. The Sr. Manager leads and develops the Oracle Fusion Finance functional team, which may include Oracle Fusion Financial & EPM Functional Owners (IT) and JDE Accounting Functional Business Analysts. This position sets delivery expectations, partners with Finance leadership, and serves as an escalation point for functional decisions, risks, and outcomes within the Finance workstream. Key Responsibilities Strategy, Roadmap & Governance
- Support the IT strategy and multi-year roadmap for Oracle Fusion Financials and Oracle EPM, aligned to Finance priorities and enterprise architecture standards.
- Help define and enforce standards for financial structures, controls, data governance, and fit-to-standard solution design across ERP and EPM.
- Partner with Finance, Internal Audit, Risk, Security, and the JDE/Fusion Architect to ensure an auditable, well-controlled solution with measurable business value.
JDE to Oracle Fusion Transformation Leadership
- Provide IT workstream leadership for the JD Edwards to Oracle Fusion transition, including scope, sequencing, testing, cutover, stabilization, and Finance capability delivery.
- Ensure future-state Record-to-Report and adjacent processes are designed with strong accounting integrity, controls, and operational feasibility.
- Partner with Finance leadership on change management, training, adoption metrics, data conversion, reconciliation, integrations, reporting, and close readiness.
- Identify cross-workstream dependencies, escalate critical decisions, and drive timely resolution of Finance workstream risks.
Solution Architecture & CrossFunctional Alignment
- Support the end-to-end Finance solution across Oracle Fusion Financials and Oracle EPM, ensuring consistent master data, reconciled integrations, and traceable reporting outcomes.
- Apply deep accounting and finance process knowledge across Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, cost accounting, inventory, controls, and close requirements.
- Partner with Infrastructure, Integration, Security, Supply Chain/Manufacturing, and Finance leaders to ensure designs are secure, supportable, integrated, and aligned to reporting and analytics needs.
Delivery, Vendor & Stakeholder Leadership
- Lead and coach the Finance functional team, setting objectives, clarifying role boundaries, supporting development, and ensuring accountability for delivery outcomes.
- Manage team capacity, IS delivery standards, stage gates, testing rigor, change/release controls, and collaboration with technical and vendor partners.
- Serve as a key IT partner to Finance leadership, translating finance strategy and accounting requirements into executable platform plans.
- Manage SI/vendor deliverables, issue resolution, knowledge transfer, prioritized improvements, and clear communication of status, risks, decisions, and trade-offs.
Operational Ownership & Continuous Improvement
- Manage the post-go-live operating model for the IS Finance functional team, including incident/problem management, quarterly update readiness, regression testing, and release coordination.
- Partner with Finance to evaluate Oracle quarterly updates, prioritize backlog items, and deliver improvements tied to controls, close acceleration, automation, planning, and reporting.
- Ensure stable period close operations, effective reconciliations, documentation, testing evidence, training materials, auditability, and long-term maintainability.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Strong experience supporting or managing enterprise ERP Financials solutions, including Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials and/or Oracle E-Business Suite/JDE financials with cloud migration exposure.
- Strong accounting and finance process knowledge, including record-to-report, close, controls, and financial reporting.
- Experience leading workstreams or project teams in complex transformation programs, including stakeholder communication, issue escalation, and delivery accountability.
- People management experience with direct or matrixed teams
- Experience managing SI/vendor activities, and governing fit-to-standard solution design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting JD Edwards (JDE) to Oracle Fusion migrations, including data conversion and reconciliation.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud EPM and ERP-EPM integration patterns.
- Manufacturing, distribution, or multi-entity experience with cost accounting and inventory valuation requirements.
- CPA, CMA, Oracle Fusion Financials, or Oracle EPM certification preferred.
