The Director of Talent Operations serves as the lead architect of Amplify's hiring infrastructure and the programmatic engine behind our New Hire Journey. You build and maintain the complex backend ecosystem of vendor partnerships, technical automations, and operational workflows that allow our recruiters to move at light speed. As the leader of a multidisciplinary behind-the-scenes team, you ensure the hiring engine is scalable, data is beyond reproach, and onboarding runs smoothly. You are the primary driver of operational excellence and change management, ensuring tools and programs are optimized for the Talent Acquisition & Onboarding organization.

Job Description:

You are excited about this opportunity because...

  • You love building infrastructure: You enjoy being the lead architect of hiring ecosystems and building the "behind-the-scenes" engine that drives a global organization.

  • You drive operational excellence: You take pride in ensuring that every tool and partner delivers peak performance through rigorous service-level compliance and proactive audits.

  • You thrive on optimization: You want to architect and refine the end-to-end talent lifecycle to eliminate bottlenecks and improve efficiency from first touch to full integration.

  • You value the New Hire Journey: You are passionate about executing a flawless Signed-to-Start transition, ensuring that Day 1 is never delayed by operational oversights.

  • You enjoy leading specialists: You have a proven track record of managing specialized managers (PgMs, Ops Managers, and RC Leads) and know how to delegate while maintaining high standards.

We're excited about you because...

  • You are a systems thinker: You see the big picture of how a single data field in an ATS affects a new hire's hardware arrival weeks later.

  • You are a change agent: You can lead the rollout of new TA technologies and process shifts, ensuring hiring managers and recruiters are enabled and bought into the process.

  • You are a technical expert: You have advanced experience in configuring platforms like Ashby for technical automation, process standardization, and global scale.

  • You are an influential communicator: You are an expert at navigating organizational friction and can persuade skeptical stakeholders through data and clear communication.

  • You are an effective business owner: You can manage executive-level vendor relationships and partner with Procurement to maximize total ROI on the talent tech stack.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in Talent/People Operations, plus at least 4 years of experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (HR, Finance, etc.).

  • Proven track record managing vendor portfolios and complex staffing ecosystems.

  • Expert-level experience overseeing high-tier ATS platforms and HRIS integrations, including leading global, large-scale software implementations.

  • Strong quantitative skills with mastery of Microsoft Excel for complex financial modeling (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and the ability to communicate complex data insights clearly

What we offer:
