This position may be filled as a Project Manager I or one level higher as a Project Manager II dependent upon the experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the selected candidate. This position will be supporting the Transmission Project Development team. This Project Manager I/II position has single point accountability and currently reports to the Director. This position is responsible for management of all phases of project planning and execution of the development process to ensure project success factors are met. These include but are not limited to scope, schedule, cost, quality, environmental, safety, communications, security, and integration to get a project through the initiate gate and handed off to project execution. This position will support various types of projects and level of complexity. Project Managers serve as unifying agents providing leadership, decision making, management, guidance, coordination, and control of overall projects in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements of the Company. Responsibilities * Create / Staff / Lead Project Team PM-II's provide leadership, oversight, direction, delegation, and coordination with various internal and external organizations providing services to the project (Development, Engineering, Project Controls, Estimating, Construction Management, Supply Chain, Legal, EHS, QA/QC, Operations, Communications, Stakeholder Engagement, Regulatory, Security, Fuels, Transmission, etc.). Project Managers guide matrixed members of the team daily. They interface with functional leaders of matrixed team members regarding placement, development and conflict resolution. Required/Basic Qualifications - Project Manager I Associate's Degree AND two (2) years minimum required related experience In lieu of degree and experience listed above, High School/GED AND five (5) years minimum required related experience Required/Basic Qualifications - Project Manager II Desired Qualifications
