Acentra Health is looking for an EAP Program Manager / Senior Account Manager (must be Licensed in Virginia or Washington, D.C.) (Remote U.S.) to join our growing team. Job Summary:
The EAP Program Manager / Senior Account Manager based in Virginia or Washington, D.C. is responsible for full lifecycle program and contract management. The role serves as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring all services and deliverables are executed in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements, and client policies. This role ensures consistent, timely, and high-quality service delivery while supporting regulatory compliance, continuous program improvement and stakeholder engagement and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct oversight and management of all contractual activities.
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, including the National EAP Program Manager, and contractor staff.
- Provide comprehensive program management support, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently, accurately, on time, and in full compliance with contract requirements.
- Oversee contract performance, monitor SLAs and performance metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules, action item logs, calendars, and timelines for all contract deliverables.
- Coordinate and lead internal crossfunctional teams (operations, clinical, finance, and pharmacy management) to ensure seamless service integration and delivery.
- Participate as an active member of clientled teams when directed by the client and National EAP Program Manager.
- Participate in and support KickOff Meetings and ongoing program meetings; prepare and distribute formal meeting minutes and action item summaries.
- Prepare and deliver weekly internal status reports and monthly operational and utilization reports to the client, as required.
- Demonstrate Federal program and contract management experience.
- Demonstrate experience supporting the client or other civilian federal agencies (preferred).
- Apply expertise in EAP service delivery and operational oversight.
- Maintain strong knowledge of Scope of Workdriven performance management and compliance requirements.
- Exhibit excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of billing and utilization data to support invoicing and payment in accordance with contract terms.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on EAP services, program operations, and pharmacyrelated support, providing training and technical guidance to client stakeholders.
- Support contract modifications, task orders, and proposal activities by gathering business requirements and supporting pricing and staffing strategies.
- Identify opportunities for service enhancement, process improvement, and program optimization in alignment with program objectives.
- Develop and strengthen relationships within a client program.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to manage and grow client programs.
- Identify current and future service requirements by establishing rapport with key stakeholders who understand service needs.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the business, service offerings, competitors, and industry trends.
- Serve as subject matter expert to clients by providing product functionality training and employee orientations.
- Work directly with operations teams to ensure adherence to contract requirements and SLAs.
- Prepare and maintain monthly operational reports required for delivery to client based on utilization data and contract performance in operational areas associated with the management of the contract.
- Provide billing information to the finance department to ensure accurate and timely client payment.
- Gather information associated with business requirements and proposals for clients and presenting the information to the company's management for pricing strategy.
- Coordinate ad-hoc requests with the appropriate operational group and provide deliverables directly to the client.
- Facilitate the implementation process, connect operations, finance, and clinical areas to the new client. Serve as key member of the implementation team, acting as implementation manager as needed.
- Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- An active, unrestricted Independent License in the behavioral health field issued by your state's Licensing Board, examples include:
- LCP - Licensed Clinical Psychologist
- LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- LICSW - Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
- LMFT - Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
- LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor
AND
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of direct experience in Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).
- 4+ years of account management experience.
- 4+ years of experience in business process analysis and improvements.
- Public and private sector healthcare experience and/or has been involved in providing services to government or commercial programs.
- Travel up to 15% annually with the ability to travel as required for this role and to perform driving duties, maintaining a valid driver's license and meeting all eligibility requirements to operate a vehicle.
- As required by federal contracting requirements, this role requires the ability to successfully complete a federal background investigation. This process may include verification of financial obligations (including taxes, child support, and student loans), fingerprintbased screening, a multiyear investigative review, drug and alcohol testing, and eligibility to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance, as applicable.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
Ensure overall compliance with all contracts and task order requirements and quality standards; and Provide guidance, direction and ultimate management for the contract, and reviews all services for overall conformance to Government requirements. - Proven history in successfully managing client contracts utilizing project management methodologies.
- Possess excellent strategic planning and implementation skills.
- Knowledge of Information Technology systems and applications.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft products
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in identifying appropriate business needs of clients.
