Location: On-site, Melbourne, FL
Employment Type: Temp to Direct
Industry: Electronic Manufacturing
Compensation: $17.00/hr (+ 10% shift differential)
Shift: 2nd or 3rd
Schedule: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM or 11:30PM - 7:30AM
About the Opportunity:
As a Test Operator, you'll play a hands-on role in ensuring product quality by performing inspections, running tests with specialized fixtures, and accurately recording results. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented who enjoys working with electronics and following structured procedures in a fast-paced production environment. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement by identifying defects and supporting team quality efforts.
What You'll Do:
  • Set up and operate product-specific test equipment and perform inspections according to defined procedures.
  • Record and interpret test results in the quality system, then label and route products appropriately.
  • Identify, document, and report defective components or test failures.
  • Assemble and/or program circuit board assemblies as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-compliant work area while following ISO and job-specific standards.

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating test equipment in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with running automation testing
What Sets You Apart:
  • Knowledge of PCB assembly, product assembly processes, component value identification and other component nomenclature.
  • Capable of performing job function utilizing written procedures, verbal instructions and visual aids.
  • Basic computer skills, problem solving and workstation skills.
  • Ability to operate in a multi-tasking, highly dynamic team work environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001.
