Description Job Title: Test Operator Location: On-site, Melbourne, FL Employment Type: Temp to Direct Industry: Electronic Manufacturing Compensation: $17.00/hr (+ 10% shift differential) Shift: 2nd or 3rd Schedule: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM or 11:30PM - 7:30AM About the Opportunity: As a Test Operator, you'll play a hands-on role in ensuring product quality by performing inspections, running tests with specialized fixtures, and accurately recording results. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented who enjoys working with electronics and following structured procedures in a fast-paced production environment. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement by identifying defects and supporting team quality efforts. What You'll Do: Set up and operate product-specific test equipment and perform inspections according to defined procedures. Record and interpret test results in the quality system, then label and route products appropriately. Identify, document, and report defective components or test failures. Assemble and/or program circuit board assemblies as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-compliant work area while following ISO and job-specific standards. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year of experience operating test equipment in a manufacturing environment Minimum of 1 year of experience with running automation testing What Sets You Apart: Knowledge of PCB assembly, product assembly processes, component value identification and other component nomenclature. Capable of performing job function utilizing written procedures, verbal instructions and visual aids. Basic computer skills, problem solving and workstation skills. Ability to operate in a multi-tasking, highly dynamic team work environment. Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary. Knowledge of ISO9001.
