As our Vice President, Community Operations, you'll serve as a strategic, execution-focused leader partnering with our Chief Operations Officer to drive performance, consistency, and growth across our portfolio.

What You'll Do

Enterprise Operations Leadership

  • Drive operational performance, consistency, and execution across all communities
  • Establish and monitor KPIs across expense management, service delivery, and resident experience
  • Partner with regional and community leaders to close performance gaps and elevate outcomes

New Community Integration

  • Lead integration of newly acquired communities from due diligence through stabilization
  • Build and execute a repeatable integration playbook with clear milestones and accountability
  • Align cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions

Strategic Partnership to the Chief Operations Officer (COO)

  • Serve as a trusted partner and operational advisor to the COO
  • Deliver executive-level reporting and insights for decision-making
  • Prepare Board materials and drive accountability on enterprise priorities

Procurement & Vendor Strategy

  • Lead enterprise procurement strategy to drive cost efficiency and quality outcomes
  • Oversee vendor selection, negotiation, and performance management
  • Identify savings opportunities and optimize spend across the portfolio

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and implement enterprise operating standards and SOPs
  • Drive compliance, audit readiness, and consistency across communities
  • Lead cost optimization and operational improvement initiatives

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop direct reports across plant operations, lifestyle, and operational support
  • Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure alignment between enterprise priorities and community-level execution

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive operational leadership experience (senior living, healthcare, or multi-site service environments preferred)
  • Proven experience leading integrations, acquisitions, or large-scale operational transitions
  • Strong background in procurement, vendor management, or cost strategy
  • Demonstrated success leading teams and driving cross-functional execution
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels with equal effectiveness
