Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent and 5 years of professional experience

The Associate Director of Athletic Bands/Director of Band Festivals is a senior staff leader who provides strategic oversight, instructional leadership, and administrative direction for the Redcoat Marching Band, with primary responsibility for instruction, logistics, and operational planning. The position also plays a key leadership role in supporting athletic bands for UGA men's and women's basketball, volleyball, and other athletic programs. Additionally, this role serves as administrator and director for major band and choral music festivals held throughout the academic year-including MidFest, JanFest, and Choral Day-overseeing comprehensive planning, staffing, and execution to ensure highquality performance experiences.
