OUR ROLE

This role will support VITA Brands division of Fiskars Group. VITA Brands leads the way in premium lifestyle and design, renowned for iconic names like Waterford, Wedgwood, Iittala, Moomin Arabia, Georg Jensen, and Royal Copenhagen. This Logistics Manager role is based in Wall, NJ and reports to our Director, Supply Chain, Americas. The role is full-time and is hybrid. Logistics Manager will oversee and coordinate the relationship and success with our Third-Party Distribution Center in regards to the movement of goods, materials, and resources throughout the supply chain, from distribution to delivery, to ensure efficient and timely operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AT FISKARS GROUP

Responsibilities

Manage 3PL daily operation efficiently according to set service level targets

  • Ensure DC meets the service level targets and other KPIs
  • Daily operations and timelines are set and followed according to requirements
  • Keeping DC & freight costs into consideration
  • Drive continuous improvement and C2S optimization from DC and/or freight perspective as part of structured CIP program
  • Address and resolve logistical issues, including shipment delays, inventory discrepancies, and transportation breakdowns.

Manage external vendor daily operation efficiently according to set service level targets

Follow & execute the Fiskars' health and safety culture

Develop day-to-day operation processes with 3PL

  • Manage process and IT development with 3PL
  • Drive joint continuous improvement projects

Managing logistic service providers related to freight including operational performance & compliance related to rates/surcharges

Accountable for 3PL operations are corresponding channel and customer requirements

  • Partnering with sales: Negotiating and liaising with sales and BAs to meet business objectives and channel specific requirements (Wholesale, Retail, DTC)
  • Address and resolve logistical issues, including shipment delays, inventory discrepancies, and transportation breakdowns.

WHO YOU ARE

You're a strong communicator with a knack for problem-solving and a naturally analytical mindset. You're comfortable managing projects from start to finish, with a solid understanding of the end-to-end supply chain. You prioritize safety in everything you do and bring a continuous improvement mindset.

Experience & Knowledge

  • Proven success in logistics management, supply chain operations, or transportation, with a track record of driving results and improving efficiency
  • Strong understanding of logistics principles and processes, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution strategies
  • Experience with logistics systems and tools such as TMS, WMS, ERP, or other inventory control platforms

Education

  • Associate degree with significant relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management

Language Skills

  • English required
  • Spanish preferred

Base Salary: $90,000-$110,000 Annually
