Quality Inspector - Production

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring all products meet quality standards while maintaining efficiency, safety, and accurate production tracking. The ideal candidate brings hands-on production experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Inspection



  • Inspect, handle, transport, and pack finished products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Operate mechanical production equipment and perform basic troubleshooting as needed
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections, identifying defects or irregularities
  • Label finished products accurately and maintain traceability


Quality & Compliance



  • Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to leadership or quality teams
  • Ensure all products meet company quality standards and processes
  • Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and maintain a clean work area
  • Support quality assurance efforts by identifying issues and recommending improvements


Documentation & Reporting



  • Track and record production output and downtime information
  • Maintain accurate records using internal systems, including SAP
  • Clock in/out according to shift requirements and adhere to attendance guidelines


Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement



  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional partners
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and 5S practices
  • Support team goals by maintaining productivity, efficiency, and quality output
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned by leadership



Qualifications

Required



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of production or manufacturing experience
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with systems such as SAP
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively
