SUMMARY: The Commercial Lines Marketing Specialist functions as the agency's internal insurance underwriter and as the direct communication point with our insurance carriers and their underwriters. The Marketer communicates regularly with Producers and Account Executives, Account Managers, and insurance carrier underwriters regarding their assigned accounts (both new and renewal). The Marketer is the "Project Coordinator" for their assigned accounts by managing the timely delivery of client information to insurance carriers, coordinating new and renewal insurance quotations from carriers, assessing and negotiating the terms and conditions of those quotations, and then conveying insurance program information to our client and our service team via a proposal. All applicants must be willing to perform the necessary job functions and hold all customer information confidentially. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The Marketing Specialist prepares, designs, and implements insurance programs for Commercial Insurance clients (both new and renewal). EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: NYS P & C Brokers License Required. Minimum 3-5 years experience in Commercial P & C Insurance preferred. College Education preferred, but not required.
