Security Officer - Commercial Patrol

As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal in a healthcare location as an unarmed driving patrol officer, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures and directing individuals according to site protocols and posted requirements.
• Support daily operations by reporting hazards, policy concerns, and/or maintenance issues, and by providing assistance during medical-related events, evacuations, and other urgent situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a guard card.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
