Job Summary:

Operates a lattice and hydraulic telescoping boom-type crane, crawler-type, and/or hydraulic rough-terrain crane to hoist and movematerials, drive piling, and perform other related operations.

Main Responsibilities:

* Embrace the Company's safety culture, actively support all safety initiatives, and adhere to defined accountabilities implemented by the Safety Steering and Continuous Improvement teams
* Support, promote, and practice the Company's core values, vision, and mission; follow code of ethics, workplace conduct, safety, and other established policies
* Observe safety procedures, report safety hazards, and use equipment and materials properly
* Safely operate cranes, heavy equipment and vehicles within scope of assigned work
* Operate crane controls, such as pedals, levers, and buttons, to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions
* Perform daily inspections of crane, rigging, and associated equipment; participation in critical lift planning
* Perform minor equipment maintenance, such as inspecting, lubricating, cleaning, and maintaining equipment
* Operate other tools and equipment as required for assigned tasks
* Work closely with other employees to perform a variety of tasks required to complete assigned projects

Education:

* Current National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) Mobile Crane Operator Certification, or the ability to become certified required
* Valid drivers' license with ability to maintain a clean driving history required
* Class A CDL with endorsements and valid medical card preferred
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Skills:

* Two or more years of experience in operation of fixed and mobile cranes; experience operating Lattice Boom Crawler (LBC) required; experience operating Telescopic Boom - Swing Cab (TLL) preferred
* Previous experience in bridge construction and pile driving preferred

Physical Requirements:

* Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
* Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
* Regularly required to use hands to make signal gestures and to move, handle, or manipulate objects
* Regularly required to communicate verbally and hear instructions or signals
* Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
* Frequently required to walk across uneven terrain, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and stand or work on feet for extended periods
* Frequently exposed to construction site conditions, including dust, loud noise, fuel, oil, chemicals, and adverse weather
* Travel with overnight stays away from home
