Impact and Opportunity

The Sales Operations Manager plays a critical role in driving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within Gentherm's sales organization. This position is responsible for optimizing sales processes, tools, and reporting, while ensuring alignment with corporate goals for profitable sales growth and margin expansion. The Sales Operations Manager collaborates across functions to enable data-driven decision-making and empowers the sales team to execute effectively.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Sales Process Optimization



  • Design, implement, and refine sales processes to enhance efficiency and consistency across the organization.
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the sales cycle, ensuring streamlined workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales operations with customer requirements and company objectives.



Sales Data Management and Reporting



  • Manage the implementation of a new CRM tool by leading cross-functional project teams, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and completeness, and establishing governance to enforce adherence to defined processes and standards.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights on sales performance, revenue, margins, and pipeline health.
  • Conduct trend analysis and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.



Forecasting and Planning



  • Partner with sales leaders to create accurate forecasts for revenue and margin targets.
  • Analyze historical data and market trends to support acquisition setting and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and report on forecast accuracy, recommending improvements to forecasting methodologies.



Sales Tools and Technology Enablement



  • Administer and optimize sales tools (e.g., CRM, analytics platforms) to drive adoption and maximize ROI.
  • Lead training initiatives to ensure the sales team fully leverages available tools.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies that enhance sales productivity.



Sales Administration



  • Oversee sales administration team.
  • Responsible for all Sales related audits (ISO/SOX standards) including compliance and maintenance.
  • Oversee and ensure accuracy of sales information entered (spot buys and scheduling agreements) into SAP/ERP systems.
  • Work cross-functionally with Account Managers to ensure efficient, timely execution of sales processes and achievement of key milestones.



Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a business-related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong experience with CRM systems including data governance and reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI(data analysis, pivot tables, forecasting models)
  • Demonstrated experience building dashboards, analyzing sales performance, and supporting data-driven decision making.
  • Experience supporting sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience with Automotive OEMs and Tier 1 Suppliers.
  • Familiar with managing North American accounts.
