BB&E is an employee-owned full service civil and environmental engineering and consulting firm, headquartered in Northville, Michigan, which services both the Federal and Industrial sectors throughout the United States. BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering and Program/Project Management Services to Federal and private sectors. Position Summary BB&E is seeking a detail-oriented a Project Coordinator, who will also serve as the Deputy Program Manager to support our NASA Environmental Support Services (NESS) contract on site at Johnson Space Center located in Houston, TX. The Project Coordinator should have a general understanding of Environmental Compliance programs in support of NASA and/or Federal installations and be capable of working directly with NASA civil servants. The Project Coordinator will be on-site and assist the on-site Program Manager managing sub-contractors, including invoices and monitoring contracts. Job Duties & Responsibilities
Requirements Key Qualificationso U.S. Citizenship is required and the ability to obtain/maintain a NACI o Ability to successfully pass a federal agency background check is required. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Software: Proficiency using MS Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required. Self-Starter: Highly motivated, with the ability to solve problems and function as a member of a team. Experience & Educationo Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in environmental compliance programs in support of a federal installation or NASA Center is required. o Education: A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Earth Science or other related science field, or a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering.
