Description

Purpose:

While projecting a professional image; create training content and training materials, both graphic and procedural. Coordinates training schedules and activities, and tracks the progress of assigned trainings.

Essential Functions:



  • Ensures that bankers are assisted in person, by telephone, or electronically by meeting or exceeding Bank standards as identified in the SMILE program.
  • Reviews, examines and evaluates work produced for accuracy, completeness and compliance before disseminating.
  • Ensures that scheduled deadlines are achieved.
  • Assigns and maintains records of banker's individual results of assigned testing and/or training.
  • Conducts needs analysis studies and confers with managers and supervisors to determine training needs.
  • Compiles data and analyzes past and current year training requirements to submit for budget development.
  • Researches and recommends appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, and computer-based training.
  • Coordinates and maintains ongoing maintenance of training manuals, publicized bank procedures, reference tools, testing and evaluation of training processes, and other educational materials.
  • Coordinates training for instructors and supervisory personnel in the areas of effective training techniques.
  • Researches and recommends outside consultants and trainers to conduct specific topics.
  • Other duties, as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • High School diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
  • Typically three to four years of banking experience desired with increasingly more responsibility and the knowledge, skills and ability to perform the essential requirements of the job.
  • Possess and maintain a valid Oklahoma Drivers License.


Physical Requirements:

  • Long periods of standing or sitting, typing and repetitive motion
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs on occasion
