As a Security Officer Rover in McDonough, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor designated areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile team that puts people first and acts with integrity every day.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Screen visitors, employees, and/or deliveries entering designated areas, following post orders and documenting unusual activity, prohibited items, and/or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with store leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support security-related operations and help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting conditions that may require follow-up or additional support.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
