As a Security Officer Screening Agent in TRACY, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, screen visitors and/or materials, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. Pay Rate: $19.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen people, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with established screening protocols and post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, access points, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, help to deter unauthorized access, and communicate professionally with site contacts regarding security-related concerns and/or policy questions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
