As a Security Officer Screening Agent in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a correctional location, where you will help monitor entry points, screen visitors and staff, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible, communicate clearly, and document activity while delivering strong customer service. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals and personal property at designated entry points using approved screening equipment and/or inspection procedures while following posted location protocols.
• Verify identification, access permissions, and/or required documentation before allowing entry, and report unusual activity, prohibited items, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations, screening results, and/or security-related incidents according to site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
