Join our team as a Maintenance Technician at The Stella Apartments! The Stella is a 132-unit affordable housing community where quality, service, and pride in the property truly matter. We're looking for a hands-on maintenance professional who takes ownership of their work, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to creating a safe, well-maintained environment for our residents. What You'll Do
Perform daily maintenance and repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests and emergencies Complete apartment turns efficiently using make-ready boards and checklists Conduct regular inspections of buildings, systems, and common areas Maintain grounds, curb appeal, and seasonal upkeep including snow removal and cleanup Support vendor coordination and ensure quality work from contractors Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance needs
What You'll Bring
At least 2 years of experience in property maintenance, building maintenance, or a related trade Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required CPO certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle report
Compensation & Benefits
