The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. RWJBH is seeking a Clinical Care Technician for 6 Tower - Cardio Progressive Unit at our New Brunswick campus, This is a full-time position ; 40 hours/week, 6 Tower Cardiac Progressive Care Unit is a busy 34 bed cardiac unit, We see a range of telemetry, medical-surgical, and intermediate care patient acuities, Types of patients we care for include post cardiac procedures, sepsis, dialysis, heart failure, and respiratory failure, We specialize in post heart transplantation, LVADs and Heart Failure, All of which we are happy to train you for so no previous experience required, Requirements/Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required, American Heart Association CPR required, Work under the direction of the RN to provide care to the patients on the unit, Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to: Taking vital signs, EKGS, performing phlebotomy, assisting or providing patients with bedside care, i, e, bathing, mouth care, toileting, and skin care, Every other weekend requirement Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required within one year of hire, Candidates who do not possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent will be provided the opportunity to enroll in a GED/HSEA program at time of hire as a condition of employment, A hired candidate will be provided one year from date of hire to successfully complete a GED program and obtain their HSEA, At RWJBarnabas Health, our market-competitive Total Rewards package provides comprehensive benefits and resources to support our employees physical, emotional, social, and financial health.
