HVAC Installation Helper

The HVAC Installer Helper plays a crucial role in the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, as well as various related products. This position involves working closely with experienced technicians to ensure that all equipment is installed according to the specific guidelines set forth by the company and the manufacturers. The helper is responsible for preparing the installation site, assisting in the assembly and placement of units, and ensuring that all components are securely connected and functioning properly. Attention to detail is essential, as the quality of the installation directly impacts the efficiency and longevity of the HVAC systems. Additionally, the Installer Helper must adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment, contributing to a smooth and effective installation process.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Works under supervision to install heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment, as well as other products in accordance with company requirements and manufacturer specifications.

• May test systems to ensure proper functioning.

• Identifies issues and follows up with required repairs to ensure all relevant components are working correctly to ensure compliance.

• Completes all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely manner.

• May perform start-up on air conditioning systems as needed.

• Fabricates and installs various ducts and duct fittings as required.

• Follows safety policies and procedures.

• Other duties as assigned.
