This role contributes to maintaining safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible project environments while supporting Worley's ambition to lead in sustainability solutions. You will work alongside experienced teams to help ensure that projects across energy, chemicals, and resources are executed safely and in alignment with regulatory and organizational standards, contributing to sustainable outcomes across the asset lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and systems across project sites
- Assist in promoting a strong safety culture aligned with Worley's purpose and sustainability commitments
- Participate in site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and support mitigation strategies
- Contribute to incident reporting, investigation processes, and the development of corrective actions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into all stages of project delivery, from engineering through commissioning and beyond
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation, records, and reporting in line with company standards and regulatory requirements
- Support environmental management initiatives that align with sustainable project execution and reduced environmental impact
- Assist in delivering HSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs to project personnel
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure compliance with local regulations and Worley's global HSE framework
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety performance and sustainability outcomes
Qualifications / Skillset
- A degree or diploma in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field aligned with energy, chemicals, or resources sectors
- Foundational knowledge of HSE principles, regulatory requirements, and industry standards within engineering or construction environments
- Strong interest in sustainability and environmental stewardship, aligned with Worley's ambition to deliver sustainable change
- Ability to interpret data and support data-driven decision-making to improve HSE performance
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and project environments
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Adaptability to work across different project phases, supporting consulting, engineering, installation, and remediation activities
- Basic understanding of risk management and hazard identification processes
