Job Summary: (Concisely define the scope and primary purpose of this job)
This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the general office functions of the Auction, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all sales paperwork and documents, and assisting customers with any issues that may arise during the sales process. Work with other departments to ensure the auction's success.
Willing to travel, as this role will cover two auction locations, with teams at both. 50% travel required.
PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supervise, schedule, determine work procedures, assign duties, expedite workflow, and supervise office and counter to efficiently process sales transactions.
- Supervise title clerks and schedule accordingly based on workload
- Review work as necessary to ensure accuracy, conformance to policies and procedures, and a high quality of customer service.
- Supervise the balancing of all sales.
- Assist in day-to-day activities, to ensure service levels are met.
- Review work volume and plan, and continuously monitor staffing levels to ensure efficiency, high-quality work product, and effective customer service; review departmental performance against key performance indicators and metrics, and develop and execute strategies for improvement.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any problems that may occur in the sales process.
- Provide accurate, friendly service to dealers and collaborate with other departments as needed to resolve customer issues.
- Monitor DMV laws, stay up to date on new regulations, and ensure conformity with DMV regulations.
- Assist with resolving complex title issues.
- Maintain and monitor office equipment.
- Supervise inventory and ordering of office supplies.
- Develop, counsel and discipline employees, as necessary. Under the guidance of your manager, plan, monitor and evaluate employee job performance, and conduct monthly check-ins and performance appraisals.
- Complete Title, Title Management System user audit, and State Audits to ensure compliance.
- Visibly demonstrate safely commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Work in cooperation with safety leadership in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
- Work with our Cox Licensing team, to ensure dealer licenses and plates are current.
- Effectively leads the team at the location by setting an example in behavior, championing Cox/Manheim values, and ensuring that all employees are treated with respect.
- Enforce all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct.
- May help with other duties, assist vendors, and answer employee questions about procedures and services.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' experience in a related field (automotive shop preferred). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 3 years' experience in a related field; a master's degree and 1 year of experience; or a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience.
- 1+ year of experience in management, supervisory, or lead role, preferred.
- Experience in Automobile or Auction industry preferred.

USD 55,600.00 - 83,400.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $55,600.00 - $83,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
