The Merchant Services Processor, Treasury is responsible for maintaining merchant payment accounts, handling transaction processing, setting up POS/gateway systems, resolving technical/billing issues for businesses, ensuring data security, and supporting account onboarding and client inquiries, requiring strong customer service, data entry, and problem-solving skills for roles from data entry to technical support.



Responsibilities

    Maintain and service large volumes of merchant services requests with help as needed to ensure timely servicing to internal and external stakeholders
  • Compile accurate records within master data file and manage to deadlines
  • Manage fees on a monthly basis and pull monthly statements
  • Complete new merchant services orders for centers and onsites with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Sustained focus and attention to detail/accuracy, perform effectively when action is required and meet all requested deadlines
  • Provide quality customer service to internal/external customers
  • Assist and notify vendors for servicing needs, orders, changes, and maintaining accurate data
  • Monitor refunds for fraud, maintain master fraud file, and research potential fraud
  • Engage and service proper stakeholders for disputes and chargebacks in a timely manner
  • Perform assigned responsibilities and tasks according to policies and procedures with assistance as needed within the assigned time frame
  • Assist in building and updating policies and procedures related to merchant services
  • Multi-task and take on new responsibilities without loss of continuity
  • Perform other specialized tasks as assigned when required deadlines
  • Assist other Treasury Analysts as necessary
  • Identify and recommend changes that will enhance or improve current processes
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Serve as backup support for functions as assigned
  • Assist team leadership with activities as needed
  • Support special projects and undertake other duties as requested


Qualifications

  • Education Level: High School Diploma or GED Major: Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
  • Customarily has at least the following experience: 1 year
  • Must be proficient in excel specific to data validation, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, cost and fee validation, and managing large amounts of data within various excel workbooks
  • Concentra Core Competencies of Service Mentality, Attention to Detail, Sense of Urgency, Initiative and Flexibility
  • Ability to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions
  • Outstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to deal with people in a manner which shows tact and professionalism
  • The ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies
  • Minimum of 1 years in an office environment; 2 years preferred
  • Experience working in a high-volume multiple facility operating structure environment is a plus
  • High-volume experience with merchant processing is a plus
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a personal sense of urgency and attention to detail
