Role Summary
The Apptio One / TBM Analyst is responsible for configuring, supporting, and optimizing the Apptio One platform to enable IT Financial Management (ITFM), and cost transparency across the organization. The role partners closely with IT Finance, FP&A, PMO, Cloud, and Technology teams to deliver accurate financial models, cost allocations, dashboards, and insights that drive data driven decision making.

• Design, configure, and maintain Apptio One modules, including Cost Transparency, IT Planning, and Cloud cost integrations.
• Develop and maintain cost models, allocations, and hierarchies aligned to TBM taxonomy standards.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance to ensure financial accuracy and audit readiness.
• Manage ongoing platform enhancements, releases, and configuration documentation.

• Build dashboards, reports, and analytics to support IT spend transparency, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
• Analyze cost drivers and consumption patterns to support executive and operational decision making.
• Support portfolio, investment, and resource planning use cases enabled by Apptio One.

• Partner with IT Finance, FP&A, PMO, Cloud, ServiceNow ITFM and Technology teams to gather and translate business requirements into Apptio solutions.
• Support Agile delivery activities, including backlog refinement and release planning where applicable.
• Provide end user support, training, and knowledge transfer to ensure successful adoption.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of ITFM processes and governance.

• Hands on experience with Apptio One (required).
• Strong understanding of IT Financial Management concepts and cost allocation methodologies.
• Experience with IT financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost transparency.
• Ability to work with complex financial and operational datasets.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Experience collaborating across Finance and Technology stakeholders.
• 4-8+ years in IT Finance, TBM, FP&A, or enterprise financial systems roles.

• Experience with additional Apptio modules (Cost Transparency, IT Planning, Cloudability).
• Knowledge of cloud cost management (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• SQL or data analysis experience supporting Apptio data models.
• Experience supporting large scale enterprise or consulting engagements.
• Apptio or TBM Council certification.
