Description Provide subject matter expertise for the deployment, integration, utilization, and optimization of containerized and Kubernetes-based environments (e.g., VMware Tanzu, Red Hat OpenShift on RHEL), including automated server and workstation provisioning within virtualized infrastructures. Maintain technical currency by researching emerging technologies, commercial applications, and updates to policies, guidance, and regulations; implement enhancements to maintain or improve operational effectiveness. Collaborate with Tier III support teams and external stakeholders to troubleshoot commercial applications and associated virtual machines, coordinate with INSCOM GISA to support future development initiatives, and provide technical expertise to advance mission objectives. Perform functionality, integration, and compliance testing prior to delivery to ensure proper operation and adherence to Department of Defense cybersecurity standards. Develop and deliver technical documentation and implementation guidance for Tier III support personnel, and produce executive-level briefings, white papers, and presentations for senior Army and Intelligence Community leadership. Additional Skills & Qualifications Education & Experience: * Bachelor's with 9+ years, Master's with 7+ years, or PhD/JD with 4+ years; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree Technical & Domain Expertise: * 9+ years supporting DoD/Army/INSCOM intelligence operations and modernization; strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift (RHEL), VMware Tanzu, and VMware vCenter Professional Skills: * Strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills; ability to support occasional travel (~10%) Nice to Have: * Kubernetes or VMware certifications; experience with Converged Infrastructure (CI) and DPED IaaS environments Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Augusta, GA.
