The Gist

We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Events Intern to keep priority brand, content, and events workstreams moving during our peak season. This role supports the marketing team across local events, including our incredible Live at Lagunitas summer series, creative asset creation and coordination, content and social execution, and day-to-day operational tasks (POs, budgets, and vendor liaison). The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, and comfortable collaborating with the Events and Partnerships Brand Manager, and freelancers to deliver on-time, on-brand execution...oh and maybe a music lover too.

Who We're Lookin' For



  • Must be currently enrolled, or recent graduate of an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a vocational program, college, community college, or university
  • Must have a cumulative GPA over 3.0
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be available for full duration of the internship:

    • May 12 - October 31
    • 40 hours/ week
    • Hybrid





What You'll Do

Manage Peak-Season Workload Across Multiple Workstreams

Ensure Consistent, On-Brand Execution Across Events and Content

Bridge Creative Vision and Operational Execution




  • Support planning, execution, and event recap of local events, including the Live at Lagunitas summer series


  • Pre-event Planning Support: Creation of all ticketing pages, website updates, newsletters, announce/on sale coordination, and more
  • During Event Support: Provide on-site event support including setup, coordination, and troubleshooting. This includes hospitality coordination, acting as a day of show runner, setting up VIP meet and greet area, assisting the box office, content creation, and more
  • Post Event Support: Organizing all post show content, paying vendors, clean up, event recaps, ticketing data recaps, and more
  • Vendor Liaison: Liaise with vendors, freelancers, and partners to ensure timely and accurate deliverables (booking photographers, coordinating poster artists and printing, etc.)
  • Creative Project Management: Coordinate and project manage creative assets across music venues, festivals, and Live at Lagunitas
  • Content Execution: Execute content and social media plans before, during, and after events
  • Budget/Payment Coordination: Manage day-to-day operational tasks including purchase orders, budgets, and expense tracking

Physical Stuff



  • Typical office environment (by Lagunitas standards)
  • Hybrid work policy: Required to be in the Petaluma office at least 3x per week in order to foster collaboration and serve as a culture carrier for the organization

    • Schedule may include some evenings and weekends


  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
