Job: Prep Cook / Baker
Location: Hartford, WI
Shift: 4:30am - 12:00pm T-F, every other weekend. Weekend hours will fluctuate
Pay Range: $15.00 - $17.00 / hour
Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and assemble a variety of menu items, including salads, entrees, sauces, and dips
  • Wash, cut, and chop fruits, vegetables, and cooked meats for use in recipes and food preparation
  • Assemble prepared food trays such as deviled eggs, cheese and sausage, and fruit and vegetable platters
  • Proof and bake pre-made buns according to established procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in accordance with food safety standards
  • Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a kitchen, food prep, deli, catering or food service environment preferred
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (e.g., safe food handling, cleanliness standards)
  • Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and portion guidelines accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and presentation
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
  • Comfortable using kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, and ovens
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25-50 pounds as needed
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and able to take direction well
  • Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
