Summary:

Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, this personwill be responsible for the process optimization of all technicalmanufacturingoperations (machining,material movement, etc.),process change management, 5S, standard work instruction creation, auditing, and the capacity planningof one of the five value streamsproducing one or more of our products.The qualified candidate will have manufacturing process improvementexperience,andthoroughlyunderstand fundamental leanmanufacturingprinciples. The Manufacturing Engineer also performs a variety of technical and administrative level duties,as related to the Health,Safetyand Environmental policies of the Company.

Responsibilities:

• Work withtheOperations team to make operational adjustments as necessary,to ensure continued growth in productivity and efficiency,by reviewingKPIs,daily.

• Initiate, manage, and lead large, complex technical improvement projects.

• Under general direction, plan and implement the layouts oftheplant, and production equipmentin order toprovide the maximumutilizationof facilities,andtheefficiency of production.

• Applylean principles tooptimizework/process flow,to include reducing machineset-upand changeovertimes(SMED).

• Investigate, and implementnew technologiesto digitalizeand automateproduct manufacturing and machine connectivitywithin the plant.

• Create andmodifywork routers and bills of materials.

• Implement the digital factory process across theorganization.

• Leverage the company's ERP system (Syteline) to analyze manufacturing data.

• Document standardwork,includingcreation of work instructions,recordingand analyzing cycle times, and value stream mapping.

• Initiateand lead Kaizenevents.

• Initiate and lead kaizen and value stream mappingevents, andapply lean manufacturing principles tooptimizework/process flow, to include reducing machine set-up and changeover times (SMED).

• Positively influence personnel during processchanges, andsuccessfullymanage that change.

MinimumRequiredQualifications:

• Bachelor's degree inanEngineeringdiscipline.

• Practical knowledge of continuousimprovement practices, formal problem solving(Ishikawa Diagram, A3, 5 Why,etc,),andleanmanufacturing principles.

• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office toolsasneeded to create spreadsheets,standard work instructions,and other documents.

• Proficiencyin2D and 3D CAD.

• CNC and manual machining experience.

• Practical knowledge of CNC programming.

• Experienceincreatingwork routers and bills of material.

• Experience in successfully leading projectswith cross-functional teams.

• Minimum 2 - 4 years' professional experience in manufacturing operations within the Oil & Gas industry.

The ideal candidatepossessesthe following experience, skills, and abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrialor ManufacturingEngineering.

• GibbsCAMprograming experience.

• VBA coding experience.

• Basic understanding of compressorsand turbines,and the function of major components.

• Experience withthe manufacturing ofbearings and seals forcompressors and turbines.

• Experience with various welding operations.

• Knowledge and implementationexperienceof automation technologies formetal and plasticmachining operations.
