About the Role

We are seeking a Customer Service Manager to join our team at our Ontario Bakery.In this role, you will be accountable for delivering world-class customer service while leading a high-performing team, driving operational excellence, and strengthening customer and cross-functional partnerships. This role plays a critical part in ensuring customer satisfaction, efficient order fulfillment, and continuous process improvement across the customer service function.

This role requires you to be onsite in our Ontario Bakeryfour days per week, providing hands-on leadership, close collaboration with cross-functional partners, and daily visibility into the operation.

Compensation



  • Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000



Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)



  • Lead and develop the customer service team to deliver consistent, world-class service aligned with Aspire Bakeries' Customer Centric Strategy.
  • Drive performance and accountability through KPI development, monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee order management operations, ensuring accurate order entry, confirmation, fulfillment, and resolution of order or delivery issues.
  • Manage customer escalations and relationships, delivering cost-effective resolutions while addressing root causes and strengthening long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, logistics, warehousing, planning, IT, and finance to resolve inventory, transportation, and service challenges.
  • Forecast and plan resources to support seasonal volume changes, including staffing, training, and cost management.
  • Leverage SAP or ERP systems to monitor order flow, identify process gaps, and implement operational improvements.



Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)



  • College degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Minimum 5 years of customer service management experience leading teams of 5 or more employees
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable plans
  • Strong working knowledge of customer service operations, order management, and escalation handling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of SAP or a comparable ERP system with hands-on experience in order management, billing, or supply chain module
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail



Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)



  • Experience in a food manufacturing or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing supply chain and inventory management principles
  • Experience training and coaching teams to drive performance and engagement
  • Familiarity with SAP SD, AR, or MM modules
  • Experience supporting logistics, transportation, or traceability functions
