Cardiac Technician

Hourly Pay Range:

Position Highlights:

• Position: Cardiovascular Technician
• Location: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL
• Full Time, 40 hours per week
• Hours: 6:30am-4:00pm or 7am-5:00pm

What you will need:

• Six months of cardiology or phlebotomy experience highly preferred
• Previous Patient Care Tech (PCT) or Nursing Assistant experience preferred
• Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International(CCI) preferred, must obtain within one year of hire
• CPR certification (BLS issued by the American Heart Association), ACLS preferred
• High school diploma

What you will do:

• Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, conducts various
• noninvasive cardiovascular diagnostic tests such as computerized 12-lead electrocardiograms (EKG),
• Holter monitor hook-ups and removal, event monitor application and retrieval of transmission. Acts as
• primary phlebotomist in the Edward Heart Hospital drawing blood samples and performing finger stickspro-times.
