Job Summary

This position will manage a team of engineers responsible for Hardware in the Loop (HiL) testing of ECUs with PACCAR Electronics developed software. The successful candidate will coordinate with the product development team to improve quality through innovative testing, while meeting program schedules, budgets and customer expectations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise activities of team members, including tracking and reporting progress against plans.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team of software development, electrical engineering, control system development, information technology and other test teams.
  • Lead a high performing team to continuously improve the team's quality and efficiency, including increasing test automation.
  • Recruit, mentor and develop engineers to support career growth and a high-quality engineering culture.

Qualifications & Skills

Required

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, manage multiple simultaneous projects, and respond dynamically to shifting priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, including internationally.

Preferred

  • Experience with design & release of automotive or commercial vehicle systems, or experience in software testing.
  • Experience solving complex technical problems using lean or six sigma methodologies.
  • Experience with Automotive SPICE (Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination) framework.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Advanced degree or Professional Engineer license.

The salary range for this role is $100,100-$156,600 annually. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
