As an Assistant Engineer II on the Supply Acquisition Team your primary focus will be assisting with the implementation of local resources program development, water supply purchases, storage programs, and water exchanges. You will be involved in many facets of water resource management including, but not limited to, assisting with: water resource planning, contract negotiations, cost estimates, cost assessments and reconciliations, maintaining program data, report preparations, invoices, and supporting the team in developing new programs. Your work experience with a variety of water resources, ability to effectively communicate and interact with others, and competence with Microsoft Excel will be critical to your success in this position. What You'll Do
Assist With Documentation Strategy: assist with documentation planning by analyzing customer needs, coordinating project timelines, and managing complex schedules to ensure mission-critical information is delivered on time.
Schedule: 9/80, Monday through Friday, every other Friday Off. Hybrid: Metropolitan's current practice in this position is a hybrid work schedule. This typically includes two days a week in person and the other days remote. This is subject to change dependent on organizational needs. In addition, a telework policy is scheduled for negotiations and once completed and implemented, will provide final direction on the hybrid schedule.
