JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Clinical Audiology Manager for NCEENT to both see patients for their hearing needs as well as oversee the clinical, operational, and administrative functions of the audiology department across locations.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Supervise audiologists and assistants Lead hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling and performance evaluations
  • Foster collaborative, patient-centered team culture
  • Oversee hearing aid and supplies inventory, ordering, pricing and vendor relationships
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with practice standards Serve as liaison between audiology staff, ENTs, administration, Duke audiology management, and external partners
  • Oversee daily clinical operations, scheduling efficiency, and patient flow
  • Participate in leadership meetings for practice
  • Maintain calibration and maintenance of audiology equipment
  • Support best practices for diagnostics and hearing aid services
  • Monitor patient satisfaction and implement improvements as needed
  • Administer and interpret diagnostic tests of hearing including pure tone and speech audiometry, tympanometry and otoacoustic emissions.
  • Dispenses and performs adjustments and maintenance on hearing aids for adults using a variety of manufacturers



JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS



  • Work requires a Doctorate in Audiology or a Master's degree in Audiology.
  • NC licensure as an Audiologist and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or Board Certified in Audiology (ABOA)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as clinical audiologist
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
