THE ROLE:

As an Engineering Program Manager within the Instinct Product Engineering team, you will play a critical role in bringing AMD's nextgeneration accelerator products from early planning through highvolume manufacturing. The team ensures compatibility, compliance, and robust test coverage by designing and correlating productspecific test hardware, software, and diagnostics across lab, manufacturing, and customer environments. In this role, you will work crossfunctionally with global engineering, operations, and business teams to drive execution, remove blockers, and ensure products meet quality, schedule, and customer expectations.

THE PERSON:

You are a collaborative, resultsdriven program manager with a passion for product development engineering. You thrive in fastpaced, multitasking environments and are comfortable navigating technical discussions, even outside your core expertise. You bring a strong sense of ownership, communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, and are motivated to help teams overcome challenges to deliver successful products to market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive program schedules, logistics, and execution for Instinct accelerator product engineering initiatives
  • Define and manage key product deliverables while coordinating crossfunctional activities across engineering, operations, and business teams
  • Lead presilicon planning and readiness activities to ensure smooth downstream execution
  • Drive customer sample execution and highvolume manufacturing readiness following silicon availability
  • Communicate program status, risks, and mitigation plans to management and executive stakeholders
  • Partner closely with Asiabased engineering and operations teams within the Product Engineering organization
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams including Design, Supply Chain, Business, and Customer Engineering
  • Own a specific project or a defined portion of a larger program, contributing to continuous process and execution improvements

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience supporting semiconductor product development, ideally within GPU or accelerator programs
  • Program or project management experience in complex, crossfunctional engineering environments
  • Experience using standard Microsoft tools (e.g., Office, Windows OS) to manage schedules, track deliverables, and report status
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience working across geographically distributed teams
  • Experience presenting program status and recommendations to senior or directorlevel leadership

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred
