Location: Columbus, Ohio - hybrid on site
Duration: 6 month contract to start Role: Business Systems Analyst *Required Skills & Experience* 5+ years Technical BSA / Systems Analysis experience Strong integration analysis (APIs, data flows, crosssystem dependencies) Azure DevOps (ADO) expertise Financial services or banking industry experience Strong documentation and facilitation skills *Job Profile Summary* As the Staff IT Analyst II, you'll lead requirements discovery and definition for complex initiatives that integrate multiple systems, applications, and data sources. You'll partner with IT, Product, and Business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document end-to-end functional and non-functional requirements; map current and future state workflows across systems; and identify data, interface, security, and dependency impacts needed to deliver the desired outcomes. You'll facilitate working sessions to clarify scope, assumptions, constraints, and acceptance criteria, and translate stakeholder needs into clear artifacts (e.g., epics, features, user stories, process flows, and integration requirements) that enable delivery teams to design, build, and implement solutions successfully. *Job Description* * Lead requirements definition for assigned initiatives, ensuring stakeholder needs, scope, assumptions, constraints, and acceptance criteria are clearly captured to support delivery of intended business outcomes. * Facilitate working sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts to elicit, analyze, and validate end-to-end requirements across multiple systems, applications, and data sources; identify dependencies and resolve gaps that could impede progress. * Produce and maintain high-quality analysis artifacts (e.g., current/future state flows, use cases, data mapping, interface/integration requirements, and non-functional requirements) and communicate impacts and decisions to delivery teams and partners. * Apply risk management experience in a large financial institution (risk, compliance, or corporate governance) to identify regulatory/security considerations and document requirement impacts, controls, and mitigations relevant to integrated solutions. * Create and maintain Epics, Features, and User Stories in Azure DevOps, ensuring traceability to requirements, dependencies, and acceptance criteria through delivery and implementation. *Requirements* * 5+ years of related experience * Bachelor's degree in related field required * Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred. * Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices. * Intermediate to advanced experience in integration analysis across systems and applications, including interface/API and data flow analysis, dependency identification, and translating cross-system impacts into clear functional and non-functional requirements * Intermediate to advanced working in Azure Dev Ops (ADO) and relevant Diagramming Software (e.g. Lucid, Visio, etc.), as well as technical aptitude and experience * Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills *Nice to haves* * Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking * Previous leadership experience *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Westerville, OH. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
