Technical Transition & Integration Lead / Project Engineer

TSC is seeking a Technical Transition & Integration Lead in Huntsville, AL to support the Product Solutions Division.

This position is responsible for leading New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts and driving integration and resolution of complex, cross-functional production challenges across advanced RF systems, including seekers, proximity sensors, height-of-burst sensors, antennas, and related subsystems. The selected candidate will coordinate cross-functional engineering activities to ensure successful transition of products from development into production and drive execution of high-impact efforts across the product portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead execution of NPI activities across programs, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of cross-functional teams
  • Support transition of products from development into production, ensuring readiness of manufacturing processes, test solutions, and documentation
  • Coordinate pilot builds, product hardening, and production validation activities
  • Ensure completion of key NPI deliverables including work instructions, test readiness, risk assessments, and Production Readiness Review (PRR)
  • Identify and mitigate technical and program risks throughout the NPI lifecycle
  • Lead integration and resolution of complex production issues requiring coordination across engineering disciplines
  • Serve as the execution lead for high-impact issues affecting multiple products, programs, or production lines
  • Drive structured problem-solving efforts and ensure timely closure of actions
  • Coordinate resources across Manufacturing Engineering, RF Test Engineering, Design Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve systemic issues
  • Support identification and prioritization of portfolio-level production risks and improvement opportunities
  • Provide direction to NPI engineers and technical staff supporting build and transition activities
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution
  • Communicate status, risks, and production readiness to leadership and program stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement of NPI processes, tools, and execution methods

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field) with 10+ years of relevant experience OR Associate's degree in a STEM field with 15+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience supporting NPI, manufacturing engineering, or production engineering activities
  • Demonstrated experience transitioning products from development into production
  • Strong technical background across RF systems, electronics, mechanical assemblies, and test environments, with working knowledge of Design Engineering practices
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving execution across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience resolving complex production issues
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • U.S. citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in defense, aerospace, or high-reliability manufacturing environments
  • Experience with RF systems such as seekers, sensors, antennas, or similar technologies
  • Experience supporting low-rate initial production (LRIP) through full-rate production (FRP)
  • Familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality systems
  • Experience leading or mentoring engineers or technical staff
