Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a corporate associate with 3-5 years of relevant experience to join the Transactions Practice Group in our Silicon Valley, San Francisco, or San Diego office. This role will involve handling a mix of emerging companies & venture capital (ECVC) financing, M&A, private equity, and general corporate counseling for publicly and privately held companies, private equity funds, and other investors and entrepreneurs. You will join an energetic, collaborative culture that values character, work ethic, and personal and professional development.
Qualified candidates will have experience working on venture capital/early-stage financings, mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and other commercial transactions, together with general corporate experience. Experience with capital markets transactions and public company reporting is preferred. The ideal candidate will bring strong drafting and communication skills, business development aptitude, and excellent interpersonal skills, along with a positive attitude and exceptional work ethic. The expected salary range for this position is between $260,000 - $390,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, experience, internal pay equity at Foley, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
