A Brief Overview:
Endeavor Health Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is a multidisciplinary practice with inpatient, IOP, PHP, ambulatory, and collaborative care settings offering assessments, medication management and a range of psychotherapy interventions to diverse communities in Chicago, Northern and Western Suburbs.

What you will do:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations and medical histories, to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Providing evidence-based psychiatric evaluation and medication management for patients with various mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis, and substance use disorders.

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure coordinated patient care.

  • Monitoring and adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize patient outcomes, using a patient-centered and recovery-oriented approach.

  • Administering and managing psychotropic medications and therapies, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with hospital policies and legal regulations.

  • Participating in case conferences, team meetings, and treatment planning sessions to review patient progress and provide recommendations for care.

  • Educating and supporting patients and their families, promoting mental health awareness and providing resources for coping and self-management.

  • Staying informed about the latest advancements in psychiatric care through ongoing professional development and training.

What you will need:

  • Completion of a psychiatric residency in an ACGME accredited residency program

  • BC/BE in Psychiatry (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology)

  • Valid state medical license as MD or DO

  • Valid Illinois Controlled Substance License
