Responsibilities

Position Overview:

As a Quality Engineer, you'll be
part of our Aerospace team working as an on-site employee in Fullerton, CA.

Key Responsibilities: ''''

' Maintaining the AS9100 Quality Management System.

' Supporting of customer, AS9100, and NADCAP audits

' Conducting internal audits and identifying areas for improvement.

' Understanding customer demands and expectations of products and services

' Developing training documentation for specific processes in compliance with
customer and quality requirements.

' Participating in design reviews, risk management, continuous improvement,
approval of routers for new products, contract review, and PPAP activities.

' Creating and enforcing quality standards, procedures, and policies.

' Working closely with all departments/functions to develop procedures/work
instructions for new processes, identify improvement and training needs, and
develop performance goals.

' Communicating significant issues or developments identified during quality
assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to
management.

' Managing Root Cause & Corrective Action process for external and internal
customer complaints.

' Developing new approaches to solve problems identified during quality
assurance activities.

' Interface and assist with supply chain development and initiatives; evaluate
supplier performance; maintain suppliers' qualifications up to date.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

' Bachelor's degree in engineering in mechanical, industrial, Material Science
or' manufacturing engineering.

' Knowledge of lean manufacturing basics and AS9100 quality system requirements

' Working Knowledge of problem-solving tools

' Experience in blueprint reading

' PPAP and AS9102 experience

' Strong organization and planning skills

Preferred Qualifications:

' 3+ years of experience in the quality field, aerospace industry
preferred

' ASQ CQE certified (preferred)
