Maintenance Work Control Planner/Scheduler Location

Overview Sierra Lobo, offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies. We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). This position will be located at NASA's Langley Research Center. Responsibilities The successful candidate will join the Maintenance Directorate to support the Center Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering Contract (CMOE) located at NASA Langley Research Center. This position reports directly to the Work Control Center Manager. All work will be completed with a high level of quality, professionalism and full adherence to all safety policies and procedures. Key Skills for this position:
Qualifications U.S. Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain to maintain a security clearance as required. Six (6) years of related experience in the maintenance field. Additional relevant education and/or experience may be substituted for a portion of the experience. Must be able to effectively communicate and follow instructions. Exercise diligence when developing a Safe Plan of Action (SPA) for each task performed. The Safe Plan of Action (SPA) is a company provided tool to be used for the prevention of incidents, accidents, and injuries: as such, it is the most important tool that we are required to use. Work Environment: Office environment. (75%) Test facilities and active work site environment - loud noise and potentially hazardous equipment operation. (25%) Travel between office and various facilities is required (<5%). This is an on-site position. Physical Requirements: Attendance: Regular attendance mandatory (100%) Other Essential Functions: Valid Real ID compliant identification - www.dhs.gov/real-id A valid driver's license is required.
