*OSP Construction Coordinator* *Location:* Buckhannon, WV
*Pay:* Based on experience *Overview* The OSP Construction Coordinator will oversee and coordinate the construction and maintenance of outside plant (OSP) telecommunications infrastructure in the Buckhannon, WV area. This role supports a client currently implementing network splits to reduce operating costs and requires hands-on coordination, quality control, and vendor management across multiple project types. The coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards. *Key Responsibilities* This role is responsible for coordinating OSP construction projects from initial planning through closeout, working closely with engineers, contractors, internal teams, and external vendors. The coordinator will monitor daily construction activity, track progress against schedules, and proactively address issues that could impact timelines or quality. A major focus of the role involves conducting field quality control (QC) on a variety of job types, including HFC coax and fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) builds. The coordinator will regularly perform site inspections to confirm workmanship, materials, safety practices, and adherence to design specifications. Additional responsibilities include managing ISP vendor work, maintaining accurate project documentation such as reports, schedules, and budgets, and communicating status updates to management and stakeholders. The coordinator will also help manage project resources, ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations, and support the successful completion of projects within budget constraints. *Required Qualifications* Candidates should have strong knowledge of OSP construction practices, standards, and regulations, along with hands-on experience supporting HFC coax and FTTH projects. The ability to read and interpret construction prints, permits, and specifications is essential. The role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively with vendors, engineers, and internal teams. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and project management platforms, is expected. A valid driver's license is required, along with the ability to travel locally to job sites as needed. A CATV background or experience working for a broadband provider is highly preferred. *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Buckhannon, WV. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
