As the People Operations Retirement Administrator, US, you will manage plan compliance. You will also monitor and report on the financial status of the Plans. Additionally, you will ensure that you maintain correct data to produce accurate results. Furthermore, you will deliver a best-in-class operations service to a broad range of US employee and retiree groups, providing support in the areas of Retirement.

You will report directly to the Global Benefits Leader. You will oversee a team of two, who administer the daily operations, facilitate issue resolution with main vendors, and assist with department projects. You will have a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite and 2 remote days and will work from our Pittsburgh, PA headquarters.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage overall plan compliance, including funding administration, compliance filings and plan audits, by managing the US and PR Employee Savings Plan processing with the vendor and internal parties.
  • Manage overall plan compliance, including compliance filings and plan audits, by managing the US pension processing with the vendor and internal parties.
  • Ensure accurate US pension data is maintained within the systems and coordinate delivery of accurate pension payments.
  • Manage US pension overpayments and maintain controls of outstanding balances owed to the pension trust.
  • Manage plan compliance by handling the US defined contribution retirement plan monthly contribution calculations and ensure data accuracy in Workday.
  • Manage a team to ensure excellent program administration and customer service to all participants in the US.
  • Maintain complete Standard Operating Procedures documents for all processes.
  • Be the team back up for funding administration and incoming inquiries, including benefit eligibility, calculations, and service.
  • Manage US service for all service-related benefits (Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution Retirement Plan, Vacation, Severance and Service Awards) observing legal requirements and benefit plan documentation.
  • Deploy all plan offerings and plan design changes as directed by Strategy.
  • Support vendor relationships for the US retirement plans by reviewing Service Level Agreements and metrics, performing ongoing audits, reporting trends to Strategy, maintaining accurate participant eligibility and participating in calls
  • Support all acquisitions and divestitures by building and executing implementation of the PPG group benefits, retirement benefits and service
  • Support all US retirement and service inquiries from the Benefits Service Center and Support Center.
  • Support the Labor team by providing negotiation data support and executing the implementation of the contract results
  • Represent us in interactions with external parties to protect PPG's interests and reputation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5+ years of experience with US retirement; including 2+ years of defined benefits and defined contribution experience
  • Experience working with computer systems such as Oracle, Microsoft Suite, including advanced Excel knowledge, Fidelity and Workday
  • Experience with building vendor partnerships
  • Prior experience managing a team of professionals
  • Act honestly and professionally, with discretion to participant's sensitive information.
