As part of the newly formed Brand & Campaign Community of Expertise (COE), the Downstream Marketing Communications Manager will lead integrated marketing communications strategy and execution across the Downstream and Global Chemicals business. They will partner closely with the Global VP Marketing for Downstream and Global Chemicals to ensure brand campaigns and business-specific activations drive tangible business results while also integrating with global best practices. This role is based in Houston, Texas.

What You Will Do:

Campaigns, Programs & Lead Generation/Nurture

  • Translate business strategies into clear messaging frameworks, integrated campaign plans, and go-to-market execution.
  • Plan and lead integrated campaigns including product launches, thought leadership, lead generation, and sales enablement programs across digital, paid, owned, and earned channels - including how content comes to life at key industry events.
  • Support customer journeys and demand generation initiatives, translating performance metrics into business impact insights.

Sales Enablement & Content Development

  • Lead creation of sales enablement tools including pitch decks, case studies, value propositions, campaign assets, etc.
  • Ensure product and service messaging across Ecolab.com and other enterprise channels remain current, accurate, and aligned to business priorities.

Customer Experience Center Leadership

  • Lead and own the Customer Experience Center in Houston, ensuring it delivers an exceptional, memorable experience for every visitor.
  • Curate and cultivate the in-person journey, from guiding dynamic tours, providing seamless logistics, and keeping the center vibrant and impactful with up-to-date messaging.
  • Champion excellence by maintaining a high-quality environment that reflects the brand and drives lasting business relationships.

Agency, Vendor & Cross-Functional Management

  • Manage agency partners and vendors to deliver high-quality creative and campaign execution on time and on budget.
  • Collaborate with other COEs and Downstream teams, managing key cross-functional stakeholder relationships to translate business strategies into effective integrated campaign plans and go-to-market executions.

Internal Communications & Engagement

  • Collaborate with the Downstream leadership to translate business priorities into actionable communications.
  • Contribute to Downstream internal communications including newsletters, leadership announcements, and town halls, with the understanding that as the COE continues to evolve, these responsibilities may shift or decrease.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of marketing communications experience, including ownership of integrated campaigns.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects in a matrixed organization.
  • Expertise in campaign measurement and connecting campaigns back to business results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate strategy into compelling narratives.
  • Experience working across digital channels including web, email, social, and paid media.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting content creation for product launches, thought leadership, and lead generation programs.
  • Experience managing agencies and external partners.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and digital analytics.
  • Industry knowledge of Downstream industry segments, such as refining, distribution, petrochemical processing, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $107,600.00 - $161,500.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
