The primary duties of the Marketing Coordinator include working with the Area Business Development Leader, Area Marketing Services Manager, Client Team Leaders, Project Managers, and technical staff to prepare proposals, qualifications, and interview presentations. Routine tasks include developing and coordinating proposal/interview graphics, writing and editing marketing proposal documents, assisting with development of project pursuit plans, and creating proposal documents using desktop publishing software. Marketing Coordinators also research, lay-out, and produce technical documents and reports, provide periodic support on project work and public involvement, as necessary. Marketing Coordinators work with the marketing section to maintain our marketing database and to also coordinate our technical staff conference attendance/sponsorships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
- Minimum 1+ year document layout and production experience.
- Experience in proposal planning and coordination desired.
- Proficient in Adobe and Microsoft Suite (see required qualifications).
- Writing ability, strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks on multiple project pursuits.
- Ability to handle tight deadlines and make independent decisions critical to job success.
- Quick self-starter, team-oriented and able to work with different personalities and professional styles.
- Previous experience in the A/E industry desired.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
