Position Overview


We are seeking a disciplined and experienced Chief Firearms Instructor to support the development, delivery, and oversight of firearms training programs across domestic and international operations. This role serves as the lead subject matter expert for firearms within the training function, ensuring instruction, qualification standards, and operational readiness align with company expectations.


This role focuses on firearms program excellence within a broader training team.


Who We're Looking For:


We are seeking a firearms professional with strong instructional experience in military, law enforcement, or executive protection environments. You are comfortable leading on the range, contributing to program development, and supporting broader training initiatives.


What You Will Work On:


Firearms Training Leadership & Delivery


* Develop and deliver firearms training programs across the United States and internationally.


* Maintain instructional quality, safety, and alignment with operational requirements.


External & Client-Facing Training Delivery


* Deliver billable training for clients, internal leadership, and ad hoc requests.


* Support revenue-generating training initiatives as part of core responsibilities.


Instructor Development & Oversight


* Support development of adjunct and additional-duty instructors.


* Contribute to instructor standards, evaluation, and mentorship.


Curriculum Development & Standards


* Maintain and improve firearms curriculum and qualification standards.


* Support integration of use-of-force continuum considerations, including less-lethal options.


Policy & Compliance Support


* Assist with firearms policy review, development, and implementation.


* Support compliance across jurisdictions.


Use-of-Force Continuum & Less-Lethal Development (Preferred)


* Support development and potential delivery of less-lethal training.


* Ensure alignment across use-of-force practices.


Training Program Integration


* Support onboarding course delivery monthly.


* Assist with cross-functional training delivery when qualified.


Location & Travel


Remote with 70-80% travel, including international assignments.



What You Will Bring:


* 8+ years of firearms experience.


* Instructor experience.


* Understanding of protective operations.


* Strong communication and professionalism.


Preferred Backgrounds


* Specialized unit or executive protection experience.


* Instructor certifications.

Information Security



Protect the data and systems of Crisis24 and its stakeholders by adhering to policies, reporting incidents and potential problems, completing regular training, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
